Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations & Payroll Executive to manage the end-to-end HR operations process, including onboarding, documentation, employee records, payroll processing, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of HRIS systems, current payroll and taxation laws, and should be capable of independently handling monthly salary processing and employee lifecycle activities.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:

Manage onboarding formalities, documentation, and employee file creation (digital).

Ensure accurate data entry and updates in HRIS platforms.

Process monthly payroll inputs, validate attendance, leaves, and deductions for salary calculation.

Generate, verify, and upload salary slips within the required timelines.

Handle statutory compliance, including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and TDS.

Coordinate Full & Final Settlements, reimbursements, and bonus/incentive payouts.

Assist in issuing HR letters like offer, increment, confirmation, and experience certificates.

Respond to employee queries related to salary, tax, leave, and other HR matters.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian payroll rules, income tax regulations, and HR compliance.

Generate HR MIS and payroll reports as required for audits or management reviews.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with payroll processing and salary structuring

Understanding of Indian taxation laws, TDS, and statutory deductions

Familiarity with HRIS/Payroll software like GreytHR, Keka, Zoho People, etc.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

Excellent communication and employee service orientation

Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR operational tasks

Proficiency in Excel and report generation

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or any relevant field

Postgraduate Diploma in HR or Payroll Management (preferred)

Certification in Payroll/HRMS tools (added advantage)
