The role is to be responsible for Civil & Structural and building design for solar PV power plants

About the Role
 

Description of the roles and responsibilities

• Cost optimization and design of an Innovative cost-effective solution for Solar plants.

• Module mounting structure basic design for Fixed tilt, Seasonal Tilt & Tracker System with including MMS GA

• Drawing and Fabrication, Drawing Design, and Cost Optimization.

• Vendor/Contractor finalization and assessment.

• Closer of drawings as per MDL in discussion with Owners' Engineers.

• Coordination with other stakeholders, i.e., Business development, Project, and Supply chain for technical matters closers.

• Technical specification for the Civil design of the Solar PV Plant, i.e., MMS, Transformer foundation, Control Room Design, Security Rooms, Entrance Gates, Water Collection Tanks, Geotechnical Investigation &Topographical survey, Pile testing.

• Detailed architectural Drawings for utility buildings in a solar plant.

• HT & LT Cable trench design, drawing, and design calculation.

• Pre-bid support: quotations, estimates, and preliminary site visits for feasibility studies.

• Contour Layout, Soil Investigation Report, and Pile Test Results reviewing.

• Hydrology report, and according to that design of drains and culverts shall be done for tendering purposes.

• Design of pile foundation by using IS 2911.

• 11 KV/ 33 KV/ 66 KV/132/220 KV Switch yard foundation Design.

• Design of Pile & pile cap, Isolated and Combined Footing/Piling/Ramming.

• Review of Tracker supplier document and detailed design of the tracker.

• Design and calculation of the Main control room Building, Inverter station, Transformer foundation, Burnt oil pit, and inverter chain link fencing.

• Expertise in preparing BOQ for RCC structures and steel structures.

• Ensure proper documentation of designs & preparation of related drawings in AutoCAD.

• STAAD software knowledge is essential, and other analysis software knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Conversant with Indian Standard Codes related to design and analysis, including other codes like AISC, ACI, EURO CODE, and BNBC Code.

• Design of Cable tray, ladders, and Cable trench for Solar yard and substation.

• Rainwater harvesting scheme consisting of RWH ponds, Recharge wells, Silt traps,

• Design of rain water harvesting, storm water drains, and subsequently released GFC drawings and Subsequently.

Skills and tools

• Good communication skills – written and spoken – English and Hindi

• Proficient with RCC, Steel structure Drafting.

• Discuss & understand basic design philosophy & design concepts.

• Drafting of all the structural elements as per latest IS codes.

• Preparation of structural drawings with the help of AutoCAD

• Detailed checking of structural drawings and BOQ.

• Submission of basic calculation on Excel or Word.

• Structural detailing and preparation of BOM and quantity estimation
